Terms & Conditions
1. Operator. NAVION 3D is a 3D-printing service operated by Mohammed Nafees H in his individual capacity under the NAVION ROBOTICS name. Neither NAVION ROBOTICS nor NAVION 3D is an incorporated company, LLP, or registered legal entity.
2. Quotations and orders. No prices are calculated or displayed automatically. Any estimate or quotation is provisional until your STL file, dimensions, material, quantity, finishing requirements and intended use have been reviewed. An order exists only after a final quotation has been issued, you have accepted it in writing (including by WhatsApp or email), and payment terms have been agreed.
3. Payment terms. Unless otherwise agreed in writing: a quotation is valid for [14] days; an advance of [50%] may be required before production begins, with the balance due before pickup; production begins only after the required advance is received and the final specification is confirmed; accepted payment methods are [UPI / bank transfer / cash on pickup]; an advance already paid for work not yet started is refundable less any material or design work already performed; a revised quotation supersedes the previous one once you accept it. Amounts are in Indian Rupees (₹).
4. Tax. NAVION 3D is operated by an individual and [is not currently GST-registered / will state its GST position on the quotation]. Any applicable taxes will be shown on the quotation. (Confirm the correct GST position with an accountant.)
5. File ownership and permissions. By uploading a file you confirm that you own the design or have the right to reproduce it, and that reproducing it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. Files must not relate to illegal, weapon-related, dangerous or regulated purposes.
6. Prohibited designs and rejection process. We may refuse any request. Where a file appears to be infringing, unsafe, weapon-related or otherwise prohibited, it will be rejected, not printed, and permanently deleted from our systems, and you will be notified of the rejection. We are not obliged to explain a rejection in detail.
7. Customer confirmations. You confirm that the scale, dimensions, quantity, material, colour, orientation requirements and intended use of the printed part are as specified in your request. FDM printing produces layer lines, visible seams, support witness marks, and colour variation between batches. Dimensional variation is a normal characteristic of the process and is not guaranteed to a universal tolerance. Where you approve specific dimensions, parts produced to those dimensions are deemed correct.
8. Material guidance. PLA suits visual models, prototypes and low-heat indoor parts. PLA+ offers tougher general prototypes; actual properties depend on the filament brand used. PETG offers better impact and moisture resistance than PLA for functional parts; it is not a universal outdoor guarantee. TPU is available for flexible parts; available geometries, shore hardness and colours must be confirmed before a quotation is accepted.
9. No safety-critical use. Parts printed by NAVION 3D are not certified for safety-critical, medical, food-contact, pressure-bearing, lifting, automotive or electrical applications unless specifically agreed in writing and documented before manufacture.
10. Changes and cancellations. Changes or cancellations after printing has begun may be charged for material and work already performed.
11. Defects and reporting. Please inspect your parts on pickup and report any defect, incorrect item or misdescription within [48 hours] of collection, with photographs and your reference number. For a valid, verified defect that is our fault we will, at our discretion, reprint, repair or refund the affected part; we bear the cost of correcting our own error. Issues arising from customer-approved dimensions, an incorrect uploaded model, or normal FDM characteristics described in clause 7 are not defects. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
12. Returns. Custom-printed parts are not returnable for change of mind. Defective, incorrect or misdescribed work remains subject to your applicable consumer rights under Indian law.
13. Fulfilment. Orders are currently fulfilled by agreed local pickup only. Any exceptional local handover arrangement must be confirmed separately in writing. Courier shipping is not currently offered, and no transit time or delivery guarantee is made.
14. Liability. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your mandatory consumer rights, the courts at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. (Confirm the precise jurisdiction wording with a lawyer.)
